CCHBC had ambitions to tell its corporate story more powerfully through its digital channels. It also wanted to communicate its performance and strategy through an integrated annual report which would better engage and appeal to its diverse range of stakeholders. To achieve this ambition, CCHBC needed to transform its digital presence and ensure its country websites were addressing the individual market needs.
We helped CCHBC launch an ambitious new strategy with a new Group website and more than 20 country sites. We also worked closely with CCHBC’s corporate reporting team to combine what were historically three separate reports (an integrated report, annual financial report and ‘Communication on Progress’ report) into one coherent and compelling integrated annual report that works across print and digital.
To properly communicate and promote the strategic ambitions of CCHBC’s ‘Growth Story 2025’, the business needed better digital platforms. We were asked to create a contemporary and compelling online experience for CCHBC across its Group and country sites.
First, we moved CCHBC away from its old visual identity and used its new Growth Story colour palette. We introduced a clean, sleek layout and carried out a global photoshoot so we could add dynamic and diverse stakeholder imagery to each site. The new images made sure customers and consumers were represented and showed CCHBC’s portfolio and operations in the best light.
We restructured the Group website to meet the specific needs of the different stakeholder groups and best practice standards. Our work brought CCHBC’s key messages to life and showcased how its unique product portfolio fits every occasion and time of day through an interactive product feature area.
We transitioned to a world-class content management system to make it easier for users to keep local and Group web content up to date. Our solution also made it easier for content to be shared and replicated across local sites, ensuring a more consistent brand identity and user experience.
We’ve also helped CCHBC with projects including its integrated report, digital employee newsletters and sustainability communications. Our team helped to create its ‘Sparkling Conversations’ films, which were created with senior management during the pandemic.
Throughout our relationship, our in-depth understanding and annual research into FTSE100 digital and reporting best practice has enabled us to make targeted and up-to-date content and structural recommendations.
We reimagined and re-platformed CCHBC’s European digital ecosystem onto a powerful CMS. Its award-winning web presence now better engages stakeholder groups, ranging from consumers to investors to prospective employees.
The result was a transformation in how CCHBC engaged with their stakeholders through the award-winning websites, with a significant increase of over 30% in average session durations, more than 52% boost in the number of pages per session, and over 14% rise in the number of returning users.
